Auburn running back Tre Mason has been placed in the NFL
draft this coming May. "It's been my dream since I was young, and I'm a
dream chaser," Mason said. "I'm just trying to make a dream into a
reality." In his college career Mason led the SEC and was fifth nationally
with 1,816 yards rushing. He was
nominated the Heisman Trophy winner, in the ceremony there were NFL scouts in which
they got eye of Mason. In important games such as Alabama he rushed 64 yards
and a touchdown, along with the
Missouri game where he rushed 304 yards and
four touchdowns.
All these games were another reason as to why the scouts want
Mason in the pros. "The [NFL] is getting one of the tougher individuals in
all of college football," Auburn coach Gus Malzahn said. "He can run
between the tackles. He has great courage. He played his best games in the
biggest games, and he's a good receiver out of the backfield, also."
